About DAH IKHWAN
Born in Kuching in 1948; obtained Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from University of Malaya(1972) and MBA from KU Leuven Belgium(1978); worked in senior management positions in Government Service until retirement in 2003; business entrepreneur for over 20 years in the field of property development and headed Dewan Usahawan Bumiputera Sarawak as its President for the past 17 years.
Appointed member of Economic Action Council(EAC) in 2020 until 2022, under Prime Minister of Malaysia, besides being EAC member in the Sarawak State Government; also served as board member of a number of GLCs and government agencies.
Started DAH IKHWAN Blog in 2008 writing on Political, Economic and Social affairs. Real name is Datu Abang Helmi bin Tan Sri Ikhwan.
